Instantor brings hands-on training to colleges

Instantor is investing in the next generation of professional plumbers by bringing hands-on training directly to colleges. Instantor has already visited 20 colleges with its Mobile Training Academy, delivering practical, skills-focused sessions to students preparing to enter the industry.

During a recent visit to Southern Regional College in Portadown, Northern Ireland, a trainer from Instantor delivered sessions covering the various press solutions to students at different stages of their apprenticeship. Each learner had the opportunity to create a correct press joint.

Paul Carey, lecturer, Southern Regional College, said: “The apprentices thoroughly enjoyed the training. The Mobile Training Academy was excellent and really well equipped, and I hope we have the opportunity to benefit from it again. It’s fantastic for the college to host demonstrations from market-leading manufacturers. It gives apprentices the chance to learn innovative installation techniques first-hand and be enthused by the latest products available to plumbers.”
